Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I offer individual counselling and therapy that combines mindfulness with traditional counselling and therapy methods, allowing you to experience the benefits of both mindfulness and psychotherapy. If you already have experience with mindfulness, we can incorporate your mindfulness practice into our work together in ways that can help you deal with whatever issues have brought you to therapy.
If you have never practiced mindfulness, I can teach you ways to become more mindful and help you realize the benefits of mindfulness. I draw upon established mindfulness-based approaches to therapy including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and incorporate concepts from each of these into my practice.

Fees
The fee for my services is $100 for a 50-minute session, payable before or immediately after every session. I can only accept payment by cash or cheque. Depending on your coverage, therapy may or may not be covered by third-party insurance. Please check with your provider. If you are unable to afford my full fee, I can occasionally work out a reduced fee on a case-by-case basis.
